While “journalism” and academia and politics continue to destroy their own credibility, big corporations are returning to grounded sanity FAST.
Here’s a lengthy list of corporations that have abandoned the Gaian religion. It includes most sectors, from high tech to petroleum to clothing. Microsoft and Google, formerly leaders of the religion, have decided that profit matters more than prophecy.
A big part of the change is the halt of QE/ZIRP. While venture capitalists and hedge funds were pouring free money into their favorite causes, corporations were solely interested in satisfying the shareholders. Now that the fountain is shut off, investors are paying more attention to real value and real profit.

Closely related: Via Financial Times, the big banks like Morgan and Goldman have pledged support for NUCLEAR POWER. They want to triple use of nuclear by 2050. When Goldman says nuke, the world goes nuke.
Everyone is focusing on the meaningless political sideshow. Goldman is the real show. The total disaster caused by 50 years of Gaian insanity is finally going away. FDR would be happy, and Henry Wallace would be happy.
Bonus: For quite a while this means more business for Russia. Right now Rosatom is the most reliable builder of nuke plants. We used to have several nuke builders (Babcock and Wilcox, Westinghouse) but all of them gave up on nukes when our so-called “government” prohibited nukes for 50 years. US producers will take time to regain their capacity, even if Goldman starts investing now.
