If “democracy” means responding to the will of the people, then the Trump campaign is deeply anti-democratic.
Before the start of this “election” season I was getting several spam emails per day from the Trump campaign and frequent spam from a few different Democrats, both presidential and congressional.
I used AOL’s automatic unsubscribe feature on all of them, and it WORKED on the Democrats. They immediately stopped and didn’t restart.
Since then I’ve done the unsubscribe almost every day on the Trump cult, and it just keeps coming. It won’t even let me classify the messages as Spam. They keep rolling in, endless emotional appeals from every possible angle, and physically impossible promises like offering me the VP position and inviting me to the Trump mansion.
The Dem campaigns responded to my will immediately and permanently. The Trump cult is utterly unstoppable. Just like 2020.
