Assange comes to reality

Looks like Assange has finally caught onto reality. After he Paid The Two Dollars, he was freed. He could have done it a LOT earlier. Now he says

= = = = = START QUOTE:

I eventually chose freedom over unrealizable justice after being detained for years and facing a 175 year sentence with no effective remedy. Justice for me is now precluded, as the U.S. government insisted in writing into its plea agreement that I cannot file a case at the European Court of Human Rights or even the Freedom of Information Act request over what it did to me as a result of its extradition request.”

= = = = = END QUOTE.

I learned this lesson in jail in 1969. When you’re stuck in a cell with a psychopath, there’s no real safety, but you’re much better off if you don’t fight him and excite him. Psychopaths need constant change, and their primary evil is creating constant change and chaos for everyone around them. If they can’t stir up a fight, they will move on to something else.

After initially admiring him, I lost patience with Assange when he insisted on perfect abstract justice instead of Paying The Two Dollars. He kept making the same mistake, getting into deeper and deeper trouble. Finally, for unknown reasons, he faced the simple reality that abstractions don’t exist, “laws” don’t exist, “justice” doesn’t exist. Bad people DO exist, and bad people have certain predictable habits.
