Work, not logic

Perfect example of the standard “conservative” and Catholic stupidity about education.

“Kids should be taught basic epistemology and logic in primary school before they get access to the Internet”.

Precisely wrong. Tyrants LOVE logic and philosophy. The JOB of philosophy is to help tyrants lie and kill. Logic happily defends all sorts of destructive shit.

Instead, kids need a large exposure to physical reality of all sorts. Grow plants, cook food, build structures, sweep floors, work with customers, get sick and get well. When you’ve dealt with the real world enough, philosophical liars have a much harder time penetrating your MUSCLE knowledge with logic and epistemology. Books lie all the time. Reality doesn’t lie.

Specific example. In 2020 I was able to resist the LOGIC and SCIENCE of both fake sides.

I knew the Trump myths about an “epidemic” and magic vaxes to cure the “epidemic” were wrong because I had experienced REAL epidemics when I was young.

I knew the RFK myth that all vax is evil was wrong because I had experienced REAL epidemics when I was young.

The same set of real observation and real experience gave me the MIND AND BODY KNOWLEDGE to resist the witch hunters and the witch defenders.

On the Trump side: I got sick in 1957 with the real flu. Everyone was sick. That was a real epidemic.

On the RFK side: I saw plenty of polio sufferers, got the Salk vax in 1954, never had polio, and OBSERVED that nobody acquired polio after 1954.

So I knew that viruses EXIST, and I knew that vaccines work splendidly against SOME viruses but NOT flu and cold viruses.

Everyone acknowledged that the 2020 virus, if it existed at all, was a flu/cold style virus, which has NEVER been helped much by vax.

Logic and epistemology took no part in the experience of my own body and eyes. Both “sides” used logic and epistemology to defend their fake opposite tyrannies and murders.

In more verbose terms:

Pay attention to your immediate surroundings. Pay attention to the plants and animals and people near you. DO NOT pay attention to theories and philosophy. IGNORE indirect experience that comes through the filter of some ruler or expert.

Use your hands and muscles to deal with immediate reality. Do work, do chores, observe what happens when you do things.

Try to manipulate the plants and animals and people around you. See what happens when you pull weeds or pet a dog or make another person feel bad or good.

Listen to what the THINGS are telling you. Observe the growth of the plants, the happiness of the dog, the happiness or anger of people.

Carver followed the rules in his own life work.

He looked about him in Dixie. He saw poor tenant farmers, black and white, who needed a better way to make money.

He took hold of the THINGS that were THERE. He grew Dixie crops and improved them. He developed new ways of monetizing the crops into cloth and plastic.

He talked to the plants with soil improvement and grafting and breeding. He talked to the people, working in an all-black college managed by Booker T Washington.

He listened to the plants and the people in his experimental fields and his classroom and his home.
