Trump was trained by Roy Cohn in Agent Provocateur tricks. Cohn used the tactic on Joe McCarthy and later on the Birchers. He took charge of Joe in the 50s and JBS in the 70s, turning each into a grotesque extreme parody of a rational belief system.
The Agent Provocateur trick was first perfected by Lady Edgar in the 1920s. Cohn was working with FBI in those two transformations.
FBI used the trick for many decades with RadicalRedCommies and later with RadicalIslamoTerrorists. Neither system was a real threat. Russia has never attacked us. Islam didn’t attack us until Osama, a fully owned subsidiary of CIA, turned Islam into Terror.
Now I wonder if Trump is doing the AP thing with tariffs and industrial policy. I can’t prove it yet, but the pattern fits. Tariffs are meant to be a punitive stick used together with the carrot of looser regulations and assistance for LOCAL industries. Most countries used both sides of the method effectively before 1980. When Trump uses the weapon recklessly against Canada and Mexico without an accompanying carrot, he’s not encouraging our local industries at all.
He’s guaranteeing that no future politician will ever consider industrial policy.
This is the result, so it must be the goal.
If a politician without a solid record of AP tactics suddenly misused tariffs, I’d be more inclined to call it a mistake. Trump has been playing the AP game forever, turning normal ideas and policies into horrible monstrosities so nobody will ever touch them again.

RFK’s provocateurness was obvious from the start. In August 2020 he took over the anti-vax movement, turning it into a grotesque parody of its original intention. Just like Cohn taking over McCarthy and Birchers, and FBI taking over “communism” and “Islam”. The movement had started with a proper and justified rebellion against Trump’s monstrous shutdown of the whole economy (except Elon’s part) and Trump’s even more monstrous ballgag and shot mandate. RFK turned it into the old standard Health Food fanaticism, against all vaccines including the lifesaving ones, against fluoride, against sanitation and pasteurized milk and all the advances that REAL PUBLIC HEALTH had given us before it was turned into a monstrous grotesque parody by Fauci and Trump.
So you had a choice: Go with Trump’s total perversion of real medicine in one direction, or go with RFK’s equally destructive perversion of real medicine in the other direction. NOBODY was defending or supporting real medical science or real public health. Perfect AP, perfect Machiavelli. Pick Devil A or Devil B. No other options.
