Poor UI/UX design costs money!
I’ve been getting good value from the Canadian website Hub.
I tried to set up a subscription to reward value with pay, but their payment service doesn’t accept US addresses. The pulldown includes the 10 provinces but no other nations.
I doubt this is political. The Hub has been around for several years, and Trump’s takeover threat started only one month ago. Probably not enough time to change their payment systems for Canada First, though such a move would be HIGHLY UNDERSTANDABLE. The separate donation form DOES allow other nations. I gave some money there, but it didn’t create a paid subscription that would unlock paywalled stuff.
Just careless design by the payment service. Unexamined assumptions will always come back to bite you, as I know only too well in my own web design work!

2/27 update: Switched to paid. The process is not self-evident or clear, but it did work this time somehow! Still not good UI/UX design. Joining should be a clear path.
