Never miss an opportunity!

Journalists are required to get everything wrong. Nieman Lab, speaking for all journalists everywhere, never misses an opportunity to lie and distort.

Here they complain about Trump’s attempt to shut down VOA. They say that Russia and China will rush into the void, reshaping Africa’s attitudes.

Got NEWS for you, alleged NEWS gatherers. You’ve been ignoring the NEWS for the last 20 years. When I say NEWS I mean what’s happening in a specific place, not what’s happening in the “mind” of a journalist.

China has already reshaped Africa’s attitudes by SERVING THE PEOPLE WITH CAPITALISM. China doesn’t need to broadcast anything because China has been SOLVING PROBLEMS.

For 75 years we’ve been hiring corrupt African leaders to take our side, using bombs and bribery instead of service and capitalism. We’ve also been trying to reshape the morality and culture of Africa toward NYC norms, paying no attention at all to the lives and work and traditions of the people. An African leader who slaughters his own people is wonderful if he pretends to take our side against Russia.

China has been cultivating local businesses and building new infrastructure, including high-speed rail lines in some countries. In other words, China has been following FDR. Build and invest to create value, let the locals benefit from the skills and work and profit, take a SHARE of the products and profit. Real capitalism.

VOA did its part to spread NYC cultural destruction and chaos, in partnership with the military’s bullets and bombs and bribes. VOA was spreading avant-garde NYC “music” and “theatre” under CIA guidance.

Of course we do the same internally. The day after FDR died Deepstate turned against everything he had accomplished and began a Long March to destroy all work and business and tradition and factories and infrastructure, replacing it with NYC chaos and drugs. Mission accomplished.

Trump or no Trump, canceling VOA simply recognizes that we’ve lost the war. Most countries have eliminated their shortwave propaganda services for a more practical reason. Shortwave no longer has listeners in a digital world, just as newspapers no longer have readers.

Both losses are regrettable because shortwave and newspapers are important modes of communication, but trying to restore them for evil purposes won’t help. Newspapers destroyed their own business by insulting the readers instead of serving, well before the web accelerated the process.
