Carney wins.

GOOD. I’m happy. At this point the networks are certain that Carney’s party will have the plurality in parliament, which lets them form a government. The predictors aren’t certain of an absolute majority yet. If the total of seats crosses the absolute threshold, there won’t be any need for coalitions.
Later, they’re sure it’s only a plurality, which puts Carney in as prime minister, but without a solid uncompromising mandate.

I’ve been following the Canadian election this time after STERNLY IGNORING the US “elections” for many years.

One simple reason. Trudeau suddenly started DOING the right thing, serving the interests of the Canadian people. He was DOING, not just TALKING. When Carney took over the party, he continued DOING the right thing for the people.

No US politician at the federal level has done anything remotely resembling good or correct for 40 years. Some state governors are doing the right thing, especially in Dixie. All national politicians have been perfectly treasonous for 40 years.
