British energy minister Miliband announced that solar power systems made in China have “kill switches” on the inverters. The switches can be activated by wi-fi, so China can black out large parts of Europe and US whenever it wants. The US government was “aware” of the sabotage but didn’t say anything. Perhaps the “awareness” explains why China is exempt from most of Trump’s punishment. Blackmail is the only thing that works in our wonderful “democratic” “republic”.

We trained Chinese engineers then let China make all of our shit, INCLUDING military shit. China is on China’s side, which is NORMAL AND RATIONAL. For the last 40 hellish years we have ALSO been on China’s side, which is LUNATIC AND CRAZY AND SUICIDAL.
If we hadn’t surrendered, we would still be the world’s dominant industrial and commercial force, and we would have a full power grid of nuclear and hydro, the cleanest in the world. Instead we deserted to the enemy, paid the enemy to receive all of our goodies including skills and purposeful lives, then hired the enemy to build insane useless energy-sapping land-wasting solar nonsense.
As usual Britain’s parliamentary system allows it to be somewhat sane. Our system is locked into suicidal warp drive.
