In fact we handed China our mines, factories, engineer training, and business training. Then we shut down our own mines, factories and schools.
China was BOUND to succeed when it owned all the ingredients that formerly led to our success.
We’ve reversed an old cliche.
Parents to son: “We gave you the family fortune, the family business and a Harvard education. Why are you FAILING?”
US to China: “We gave you the family fortune, the family business and a Harvard education. Why are you SUCCEEDING?”
We should be happy that China has taken over the business.
In fact we ARE happy. Our businesses and colleges are continuing to do what they’ve been doing for 40 years. Sitting around, doing drugs, gambling on stocks and bitcoin, while China runs a productive successful country.
Trump’s reality TV is just a way to keep the suckers sucking.
