Fish in a barrel

Just having fun with a standard bit of Libertarian and Bitcoiner silliness.

How do you know you live in a privacy enthusiast bubble? You look around a commercial airplane and you’re the only one using a privacy screen on your devices. Still so much work to do!

= = = = = END QUOTE.

In the first fucking place, you don’t have any privacy when you’re on a “device”. Privacy screens and private browser windows and VPNs are gimmicks to make money from fools. The silliest version of this tomfoolery is “owning and monetizing your data.” As soon as any information is in a public place like the web, you don’t own it or control it.

In the second fucking place, if you’re looking closely enough at other people’s “devices” to see which gimmicks they’re using, you’re invading their ACTUAL privacy while protecting your own MYTHICAL privacy.

Thinking you can buy part of the data on the web is the same type of idiocy as the bitcoiner’s belief that a row of a spreadsheet is money you can hold and spend.

Swindlers always convince you that those other brands of swindle are dishonest, while our brand of swindle is strictly legit.
