Lit firework thrown in Waterloo is a HEADLINE. If one day went by WITHOUT some asshole tossing a lit firework and starting a brush fire, it would be a banner headline here.
Unrelated: The streetcar tracks in the video caught my attention. Does Waterloo have an operating trolley system? Yes. Finished in 2018, it’s fully modern with fancy modern trams made in Ontario. It runs through town and also to some suburbs, using the regular railroad track between towns. The two-light traffic signal seen over the T in CTV is for trams, not for automobiles.
