It’s fun to watch the long breakup of Lady Donald and Lady Elon. Somebody memorably described them as two aging divas. Fits perfectly. Liberace and Oscar Levant.
From my viewpoint, they’re two iconic psychopaths. Each needs to create chaos and harm, each is convinced that he will always win every contest. Most of their experience verifies the victory pattern, because most ordinary people help the psychopath win. (Democrats have been doing it for 8 years, and still haven’t figured out what’s wrong.)
When two equally powerful psychopaths try to form an alliance, it WILL fail. There’s no possible stability in an alliance of two infinite chaos-makers. Elon was convinced he would conquer Trump, and for a few months it looked like he was getting there. Then Trump did what every psychopath does. After the victim thinks he’s got things under control, it’s time to change the rules. Elon was blindsided and kept acting like the winner, which guaranteed the worst possible outcome. Now Trump is threatening to deport Elon.
