Leaps

Mao’s Great Leap Forward in the ’50s brought China up to where we were in 1930.

Xi’s Great Leap Forward in the ’80s brought China up to where we WOULD HAVE BEEN IN 2025.

China has been moving forward normally in the last 50 years and we’ve been moving backward. Nothing is better than 1975, and MANY things are worse. We destroyed most of our industries. We tore down the nuclear and hydro power plants that we built in previous decades.

Nixon handed China our industries and our scientific skills and research facilities. China proceeded to use and develop the industries and science NORMALLY while we froze in many ways and regressed in others.
