I keep watching to see if any of the powerful institutions have figured out what’s wrong. So far I’m not seeing any understanding here in US. Mexico and Canada have OFFICIALLY figured it out and started doing the right thing, which is the FDR thing. Will we ever get there? I suppose it’s possible. Until this year Canada was part of the globalist monster with no hint of improvement.
Here’s more non-surprise from “journalists”, more fake soul-searching. I read the whole article because the author seemed to show some glimmer of realism. He judges the problem accurately enough. He sees that incoherent shouting about “democracy” and the “moral obligations of journalism” is only driving people away. Then he proposes a different brand of noise that will make things worse. Instead of simply OFFERING A GOOD PRODUCT he wants “journalists” to change their marketing! Start talking like Deepstate Wall Street instead of Deepstate Ed Murrow.
He really wants to get more newspapers and media companies LBO’d by Larry Fink and Larry Ellison.
The real solution is already underway in some places but he’s not advocating for it. Part of the solution is local Facebook groups that make it easy for REAL PEOPLE to give REAL REPORTS on WHAT’S HAPPENING HERE AND NOW. In other words, take reporting out of the hands of the hopelessly corrupt Deepstate “journalism” “profession”. Desistance at its best.
Another part may be a few established local papers that are trying to offer a good product. I can’t tell if this is real because I’m not in those cities.
