It’s so damn good to see a politician who KEEPS doing the right thing. The vast majority are bad all the time. A few make a move toward the good, then give up when the billionaires push back. Carney started doing good and continues doing it, despite the constant threats and craziness from Trump, and despite the pointless complaints from Poilievre.
Carney’s latest good move supports the lumber and wood processing industry, one of Canada’s traditional strongholds. He’s giving easy loans, some subsidies, and easing internal restrictions.
This is EXACTLY the right way, the FDR way, to fight sanctions and blockades. Strengthen your inner resources. Damn the Trumpedos, full speed ahead.
