Getting really tired of the constant insistence that we need media to “investigate” wrongdoing. Media never does real investigating, and even if it did, EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.
What we need is SOLVING, not investigating. China doesn’t investigate, it solves. The New Deal didn’t investigate, it solved.
The same applies to police work. Except for a few highly clever criminals, cops don’t need to investigate. They know who’s causing all the problems. We need SOLVING. Specifically we need judges who keep criminals in prison.
