Even Spokane is learning?

For a long time I’ve been vainly hoping that the idiot Dems would start DOING SOMETHING FOR THE PEOPLE instead of screeching incoherent nonsense about “democracy” and “fascism”, two purely imaginary fake concepts.

Now even the perpetually incompetent and nasty “city” “government” of Spokane is starting to figure it out.

They’re pouring 7 million into affordable housing. Partly to flip existing units, partly to build new. The units must be rented at affordable prices. If I’m reading it right, this will result in 150 new or newly usable units.

WPA did it this way. Wall Street refused to hire people, so WPA hired people. Wall Street refused to make affordable housing, so WPA built and rented it. The best way to defeat a demon is to replace its functions.
