New measuring standard

Since 2008 I’ve been vainly preaching the FDR gospel. If a ruler wants to improve his country, he doesn’t need to invent any new methods.

Just copy FDR.

Roosevelt faced ALL the same problems we have today, with different names and numbers. He didn’t get it right the first time, but he kept tirelessly experimenting, refining the approach, getting closer to the solution each time. In the end he solved all the problems, as far as they could be solved with the tools of politics and government.

Finally one leader is copy-pasting FDR, with appropriately changed names and numbers. Mark Carney is the new gold standard, the absolute measuring unit for DOING THINGS RIGHT.

So I hereby define One Carney as the official standard for national leadership, along the same lines as the official Second or Ohm or Volt.

Most other leaders don’t even measure up to 1 Nanocarney. The majority rule in the OPPOSITE direction, often as high as Negative 100 Megacarneys.
