Well, there are already billions of reasons to stay out of the Machiavelli crap, but here’s one that might be relevant in the online world.
Right now ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE in the online world is MANDATED AND REQUIRED to line up in two opposing armies about the BIG STORY, which apparently has something to do with one dude who got shot. Everything else online is abandoned. Even in the automotive and tech areas, articles that would normally get lots of comments are sparse.
If you want to keep your favorite topics and websites running, you should DESIST from the idiotic Machiavelli trick and continue clicking on the topics you’d normally find interesting.
More imporantly, evil moves happen at these moments when ALL ATTENTION is riveted on ONE IRRELEVANT TOPIC. It’s a great chance to pull nasty shit with no coverage.
RESISTANCE IS ASSISTANCE.
