The Genesis Mission is touted as a new A-bomb project.

Not a good comparison in either direction.

On the destructive side: We used the actual bomb twice on Japan, where it did less damage than our old-fashioned firebombing. Thermite destroyed far more of Japan than uranium.

The Tech Tyrants want us to see AI in connection with the actual bombs. We’re supposed to fear that AI will take control of the bombs. This is SILLY. Predictive algorithms have been in control of the bombs since the 1970s. Computers misdetected incomings once or twice. A heroic REAL MAN named Stanislav Petrov took manual control and halted the preparations for counterattack. If we don’t design the system to let humans take control, it won’t be the fault of the computers! This fake threat distracts us from the real threat.

In fact the AI bomb is a SUCTION bomb, not an EXPLOSION bomb. In one direction it sucks in vast amounts of real workers and skills. In the other direction it sucks in an INFINITE amount of intellectual property that used to be protected by copyrights or patents. After sucking it mooshes up the skills and texts and art, chops them into pieces so you can’t see the originals, and sells the pieces. Stock traders have been securitizing money and bonds and real estate since traders were freed from laws in the 1980s. Altman extends securitizing to copyrights and patents and lives. Enough to give any banker a massive hardon.

On the constructive side: The atomic bomb was domesticated into a clean and reliable source of electricity. We were moving fast to adopt it when Nixon’s EPA halted our progress and started handing our industries to China.

So far the LLM version of Big Data hasn’t made a dramatic difference in any task. It certainly isn’t clean and reliable. It does a better job of pattern recognition in some situations. It writes up the results of statistical analysis in good clear English instead of graphs and numbers. It creates images and movies better and faster than existing digital image programs like Blender, Poser or Photoshop. Those programs already use prompts or scripts in a less human-readable form. AI does the job better and faster, removing some of the human skill.

At the moment AI isn’t a revolution. In the printing metaphor, it’s Heidelberg, not Gutenberg. AI doesn’t transform quill pens to mass-produced impressions, it’s merely faster and more automatic than earlier presses.

Do we need a multi-trillion dollar project to fund a technology that improves the efficiency of existing tech? No, we don’t need it. Sam Altman’s dick needs it. We are adding MORE trillions to our debt so Sam Altman’s dick can feel longer than Elon’s dick and Zuck’s dick.

If we make AI bombs more powerful, they will damage OUR OWN industry and culture even more. AI will deprive us of our only remaining skills, entertainment and software. We’ve already handed our BEST industrial skills to China.

Destruction is exactly why Altman wants us to do it, and exactly why China is happy to see us doing it. Altman’s dick gets longer when people lose their jobs and cities lose their industries.

China has encouraged us to run a pointless competition, a dick rush for a goal that will weaken us even more if it turns out to fulfill its worst threat. China is building the shovels and wheelbarrows so we can go bankrupt faster and make China more prosperous.
