It’s easy to tell when a new stronger batch of fentanyl comes along. The overdose deaths suddenly spike.
I’m getting the same spiky feel from the AI addicts. They seem to be smoking a batch that tells them to go hardass, to smash the remaining skeptics and heretics. Altman’s distribution chain is much more instant and rigid than the fentanyl distribution chain.
I don’t have much connection with the fentanyl bad batches. Tax money is paying to Narcan the addicts instead of rehabilitating them, but mere citizens have no way to influence how the demonic “city” uses its tax money.
The AI addicts are more directly in my sphere of transactions. I subscribed to a couple of them when they sounded more like skeptics and seemed worthy of support. I can’t prevent them from smoking Altman’s drug, but I can certainly stop paying for a source of insults and contempt.
I stopped paying for newspapers a LONG time ago, and stopped watching TV and listening to radio for the same reason.
Mainstream journalism is finally starting to realize the problem after 40 years of stupidity and increasing bankruptcy. This year I’m seeing more indications of a desire to LISTEN.
So far I’m not getting any benefits from this incipient change. I’ll pay when I get benefits. I’ll pay when somebody reads this blog and shows that they’re listening.
