Social platforms always introduce new crap at the start of the month, fulfilling their Prime Psychopath Directive: MOVE FAST AND BREAK THINGS. Never let the customer USE the service, always force the customer to spend time and attention on readjusting.
Facebook’s menstruation for February is a question-asking bot. At the moment the bot’s comments are clearly labeled with a little circle, and the questions resemble what the human commenters ask. Here’s two botstruations on a fatal shooting:

The content of the bot is a summary of the police information, plus incidents from the same address in earlier Spokane News, strongly implying that the same person was involved. Summarizing is what LLMs do best. That’s not a problem.
Here’s a problem: Police incidents are always listed by number block, not exact address. Usually there’s one Trouble House in an area. Locals know That House without needing the exact address. If there are two Trouble Houses on the block, or a large apartment building with lots of Trouble Units, this can be a false accusation.
In this case the 900 block of Cozza is one side of a very large apt group. Suppose last year’s incident was at Apt 20, and this year’s crime is at Apt 307. The impression of a habitual criminal will be false.
