When Greatest Satan Bush was allowed to be an “author” on Substack it was ALMOST enough to push me out. But he isn’t PART of the business, he’s just allowed to be there. (Or more precisely his media minions are there.) His presence doesn’t directly contaminate my transactions.
Polymarket is the last straw.

Polymarket announces a direct integration with Substack, enabling prediction markets to be embedded in Substack posts. The move follows Polymarket’s existing embeds and Substack’s push to add new creator tools. Creators can reference market data alongside articles, while readers see live odds within long-form content. Reactions vary, with some praising data accessibility and others voicing regulatory concerns.

Substack is now a fully “integrated” part of the Wall Street Crime Gang.
Natural Law STRICTLY PROHIBITS GAMBLING, and draws a sharp line between investing and gambling. Putting money in a pool to create new PRODUCTIVE business is investing. Putting money in a pool and doling it out to whoever “wins” a mixture of random and strategy is gambling.
I’d already disconnected from most of my previous subscriptions after they blew their trust by selling Altman’s drugs or taking Bush’s side on war and “virus”. Before clearing out entirely, I’ll try to find other network connections with the two or three people (physical artists) who I still appreciate.
I’ve rejoined Medium, which has a much narrower range of subjects but includes some techy articles that help with my current ADA crap. Medium also has a better price structure, a single annual payment for the whole site, more like traditional magazine subscriptions. Substack’s payment system is designed to hide your total expense by distributing it in small pieces. Most of the names in the bank statement don’t include Substack, so you can’t mentally add them up to see the huge total.
I’ve checked the other supposed alternatives like Ghost and Beeeeehiiiiiiv but they don’t even have a “front door” for customers. They’re solely MLM for writers.
