Unscientific Unamerican is screeching as usual about BURNING BURNING CLIMATE EMERGENCY.

Award-winning Burundian journalist Arthur Bizimana and his collaborator Martin Leku, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, risked their safety by travelling deep into the rainforest — the world’s second-largest — to gather material for their exclusive story on the impact on this crucial carbon sink.

Their assignment was financially supported by InfoNile and Global Forest Watch…. Often, such reporting is made possible only because of grants given to journalists by private philanthropies or government donors.

But with these grants drying up as philanthropic donors tighten their purse strings in the wake of US-led cuts to international development and health budgets, the ability of journalists such as Bizimana and Leku to hold power to account is diminishing.

In the first fucking place “hold power to account” is an empty set of nonsense words. Power is literally accountable to its accounts receivable, and the billionaires hold the mortgages. Only billionaires can influence governments.

In the second fucking place, if those donors were really concerned with BURNING CLIMATE EMERGENCY they would INCREASE their giving to compensate for government DECREASES. They would want the “journalism” to continue.

Both are DECREASING together, which verifies what we already know. Donors and governments are the same thing.

Logical conclusion: Billionaires have decided that CLIMATE EMERGENCY no longer raises Holy Share Value, so it’s no longer important to the billionaires or their servants called “governments”.

Billionaires are sucking Altman’s dick now because Altman promises them the ultimate orgasm: Exterminate all vermin. They already got rid of blue-collar vermin by shipping those jobs to China. They still need white-collar vermin to negotiate the shipping and manufacture corporate propaganda. If they keep bombing dams and shutting down nuclear plants they won’t be able to enjoy the ultimate Altman orgasm, so they’re turning back toward real sources of electricity.

LemonAIde: I’m glad to see money returning to REAL power, even if the motivation is crazy and evil. Many of those overbuilt data centers will be abandoned, leaving new nuclear plants to make electricity for PRODUCTIVE purposes. Assuming any PRODUCTIVE purposes survive Altman’s orgasm.
