The Supremes have firmly ruled that boys can’t cheat by muscling into women’s sports. Good.
Both “sides” are missing the point as usual. It’s not about “rights” because “rights” don’t exist. It’s not about Trump because this shit started long before Trump was in politics. It’s simply and solely about CHEATING.
Pre-college sports are unique in modern life, a place where enforced rules guarantee honesty and fairness. In everything else, including college and pro sports, rules exist only to enrich stock traders and speculators.
The experience of competing under fair rules is an important part of education. Fairness in school DOESN’T mean letting everyone aim for the same speed or height. It means ensuring that everyone gains the experience of working hard toward a goal. If a cheater wins every time, the hard workers will turn cynical and decide to cheat.
