Latest example: A jury in Santa Fe fined Facebook $25 billion, payable to the state of NM, for a vague set of charges that aren’t properly fraud, and aren’t offenses against the state of NM. Headlines say the case is about “privacy”, which is also a nonsensical charge, but the “privacy” crap wasn’t in the verdict. He’s punished for making some statements in public that the jury didn’t like.
We know what really happened. DNC still hates Zuck because Facebook dared to allow a few advertisements in 2016 from non-DNC people. These few ads, which appeared a few times in a few places, caused Hillary to lose.
It takes a rare level of stupidity for a giant rich corporation to screw up such a meaningless case. Sovereign Citizens could have done better than Zuck’s lawyers.
Over and over, Zuck spends hundreds of billions on bizarre projects that have ALREADY FAILED REPEATEDLY, and REFUSES to spend any money on his MASSIVELY SUCCESSFUL basic Facebook business.
A Nieman survey shows yet again that 40% of Americans, both D and R, get local news from Facebook groups. That’s more than any other social media. Facebook also dominates the media in Africa and other fast-growing parts of the world. A sane executive would pour all of his effort into improving and strengthening his main asset.
