Non-woke Twitter users are quickly developing a cult of personality around Messiah Elon. Kirn claims to see a much more “salon-like” atmosphere.
As a non-member who doesn’t spend a lot of time on Twitter, I don’t see any difference. Twitter now allows a non-member to browse without limit, so I can see more messages than before; but what I see has the same qualities. The same influencers are dominant, and their responders are the same mix of pro and con team players who might as well be bots if they’re not actually bots. Same pattern as the pre-Compuserve BBS web, the Compuserve and Prodigy web, and the HTML web.
12/8: Now the non-member browsing limit is back. So the change wasn’t a new policy, it was accident or sabotage.
