Kirn back in action

Here’s an evocative question from Kirn:

We didn’t need AI to make quasi-counterfeit art that many find indistinguishable from original works by human artists. It’s an old game, long mastered. The question is why are we prepared now to grant these machine forgeries, though they may be more complex, special esteem?

Damn good question. The answer is Transhumanism. Effective Altruism. Or in old-fashioned terms, total genocide.

Before the era of total offshoring and total automation and total genocide, human capital had monetary value. Publishers and galleries wanted to maintain their profits derived from human authors and human artists, so they fought plagiarists and forgers. Now humans are Negative Externalities which must be culled instead of protected.
