In pre-web terms, Twitter is a magazine like the New Yorker. It’s not a newspaper or a broadcaster. Facebook is more like radio or TV, reaching pretty much everyone in the world. Twitter is only the 15th largest social media company, and has always catered to the NYC and SF elites. So there’s nothing surprising about its strong anti-peasant censorship. This is exactly what you expect from the New Yorker.

HOWEVER: There is one new and true and unguessable fact in this story. The Shannon information is not the exposed content in Twitter. The Shannon information is WHO IS DOING THE EXPOSING. Weiss and crew are mostly Jewish, mostly upperclass New York types, and many of them are openly homosexual. Until now, this caste would have been tightly and happily contained in the Twitter magazine. Now they’re breaking loose, betraying the class.

When insiders break loose, things are really changing. Meritocracy and “elections” never change things, because the elites never allow non-elites into the circle. Conditions only change when a reliable member of the elite gains power by being reliable, and then changes his own course while in power.

CONTRA: It’s always possible that these “anti” elites are just playing a distraction game. Elon is unquestionably a solid part of Deepstate, and these “anti” elites rarely oppose neocon orthodoxy on important issues. She constantly bashes China for its treatment of the Uyghurs but never bashes ALL WORLD LEADERS for imprisoning and torturing and slaughtering THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF THE WORLD.
