Sammy’s got a Substack now, opened just a few hours ago. In his first post he puts out some carefully lawyered-up caveats, and then bashes the bankruptcy CEO for not undoing Sammy’s crimes fast enough.
Later: Various discussers are trying to figure out Sammy’s motives. At least one lawyer has already given up on him, and his current lawyers might give up as well.
My best guess (without much certainty) is that he’s just a cheater who can’t stop cheating no matter what happens. Everything he does must be sneaky. He doesn’t really want to be rich, and doesn’t seem to enjoy his riches.
McAfee and Shkreli are in the same zone but more grounded in strict unemotional reality. They know that they will spend time in prison. They don’t feel aggrieved because they don’t have a sense of morality or justice. Prison isn’t a punishment, it’s weather. Rain and snow and prison happen at various times. Each type of weather is another opportunity to enjoy cheating people.
