Polistra and friends enjoy a refreshing spring shower now that warm weather has finally arrived.

Thank the Lord and thanks to Jerome Powell for continuing to hold the line despite universal screeching from the vultures. Real business and thrift have a chance of rebirth now.

Graphics footnote after posting: The vintage of the Chateau Schadenfreude is perfect. I’d forgotten the detail. Oddly, I first made and used the bottle in 2007, with the 2009 vintage. I don’t remember why I chose 2009, but it turned out to be just right for the interval from harvest to popping the cork.
