Why did Endicott fail?

MindMatters reviews some newer research on brainwave resonance. This line of research is ‘controversial’ but seems pretty solid now thanks to MRI.

The rule is: When intelligent critters are working ‘in sync’, whether in mating or hive activities, their brain waves are literally in sync.

Telepathy unquestionably happens in some circumstances. Russian and American scientists have been trying to pin it down for a long time, with very little success.

Why did telepathy experiments fail?

First, they didn’t entirely fail. The tests showed no correlation ON AVERAGE, but seemed to indicate that a few people had a special talent. This is what you expect with ANY living trait or tendency, from math to music to introversion to breathing.

Second, new thought: The researchers were always testing words and drawings and meanings, functions of the cortex. They were NOT testing transfer of skills or rhythm or dancing, functions of the cerebellum.

The cerebellum has ANTENNAS on the skill sequencer data bus. This is where the synchrony and tuning would happen in a non-organic circuit.

Radio fish, who communicate by a more definite and measurable use of electromagnetic fields, have long-wire antennas for transmitting. So there’s a gene for long-wire antennas.
