Sailer asks why Deepstate is endorsing and undermining Elon at the same time.
I’ve always been puzzled by this paradox, starting with Nixon. He served Deepstate much more effectively than other presidents, but he got punished and removed. Trump is identical to Nixon. He gave Wall Street everything it wanted, and gave the CDC demons total freedom to strangle and destroy the country. Simultaneously Deepstate mounts constant media campaigns against him and throws hundreds of criminal charges against him.
The solution starts by recognizing that Trump and Nixon and Elon were NOT shot or imprisoned or suicided. Deepstate doesn’t fuck around when it seriously hates an enemy.
Another part of the answer is at the level of character roles. Nixon and Trump and Elon are assigned to play Pied Piper villains, so they are reviled and condemned publicly to keep the fake divisions aligned.
Machiavelli provides the rest of the answer. EXTERNALLY, Deepstate acts in perfect unison to destroy and oppress peasants. INTERNALLY, Deepstate is in a constant state of flux and negotiation and competing blackmail. Rulers never obey “laws” or cultural rules, and never listen to feedback from peasants. But each ruler must walk a tightrope between rival factions who want to knock him down.
Elon is permitted to run Twitter his own way, but he’s knocked back in line financially when he pushes the DieVersity envelope. Paying a lawsuit settlement now and then is necessary overhead to maintain the consistency of the character role.
