More failed marketing

It’s easy to observe that nothing is changing if you listen to what the politicians SAY. But if you watch what they DO, or more importantly what they STOP DOING, some changes are definitely underway.

The broadest change is Powell’s switch from QE/ZIRP to QT/PIRP. All media and politicians HATE HATE HATE this switch because their income is solely derived from venture capitalists burning the free cash. The switch is gradually turning the economy around from pure numbers and pure tax advantage toward stability and real products.

The most sudden change is on the border. Until last week the border patrol was tearing down every barrier Texas tried to add. Last week the border patrol stopped ruining and started expanding the barriers.

This is a HUGE change. It’s also a return to the pre-1990 party alignment. Before Clinton, R was all for open borders and D was for restriction. D was listening to the working class, especially unions, who were the first to be ruined by increased immigration. R was listening to Wall Street, which wanted to eliminate all real business and workers and products.

Normally an organization LOUDLY PROCLAIMS a return to sanity after a period of woke craziness or poor quality. This isn’t happening. Instead, the D messaging tries to hush up the real change and paper it over with weird semantic tricks about walls vs barriers.

I don’t see the point of hiding an IMPROVEMENT by pretending things are still utterly hopeless. Wall Street isn’t fooled. Wall Street always knows what’s going on. Other politicians aren’t fooled either. Only the ordinary working folks, WHO WOULD BE HAPPY TO SEE THIS CHANGE, are not being told about the change.
