The dull explanation

Greenwald interviews a “former” CIA dude who says the CIA killed JFK for failing to go along with Deepstate plans. Glenn does a good job of questioning his premises.

Former CIA said “Eisenhower outsourced his foreign policy to the Dulles brothers”, which is patently false from observed reality and from news at the time.

Observed reality: Ike pulled out of Korea and didn’t get into Vietnam, and didn’t give the green light to the Bay of Pigs. JFK started getting into Vietnam and allowed the Bay of Pigs.

News at the time: Ike was resisting the Dulles push toward entering Vietnam.

JFK was far more friendly to CIA than Ike, so CIA didn’t need to kill JFK.

Who did kill JFK? The dull explanation. Most leaders are killed or removed by the second in command. LBJ wanted to be president, so he became president. The killing happened in Texas. It’s also possible that Lady Edgar was either the prime mover or working with LBJ. Jack Ruby and some of the people pushing Oswald into the job had firm FBI connections. (Lady Edgar’s motive is clearer for RFK in 1968. RFK was serious about prosecuting Lady Edgar’s Mafia buddies.)

Later meta: We’re supposed to think that the Lone Crazed Gunman is the dull default explanation. Perfectly false. History is precisely clear on this point. Political or tribal or corporate leaders are ALWAYS killed or removed by rivals, usually the vice or assistant who wants to take over. The Lone Crazed Gunman is a weird lie that Deepstate invented to obliterate the real default reason.

Perfect example of the Flat Assertion. Deepstate invents its own bizarre nonsensical facts, never believed before, and starts treating its own lies as the normal default situation like gravity, requiring no further details or justifications.
