JFK’s famous Arsk Not slogan is always portrayed by media and schools as a noble declaration. In fact it was a declaration of independence for monstrous rulers, and specifically a repudiation of FDR.
FDR ruled by serving. He created a reciprocal moral obligation by HELPING THE PEOPLE first. He starkly constrained the bankers and monopolists, leaving room for honest business to thrive. The WPA provided USEFUL WORK for ordinary people, giving them PRIDE in their achievements, and thus PRIDE in the country that THEY WERE BUILDING. WPA built America, and its workers felt a sense of ownership over the country THEY WERE BUILDING. When a DEFENSIVE war came along, the citizens were eager to assist THEIR country.
Immediately after FDR died, the bankers and monopolists reclaimed Truman and started the Long March toward total victory. They took cynical advantage of the obligation remaining from the WPA and the farm programs, twisting our loyalty toward endless war and total control by bankers.
When Kennedy told us to Arsk Not, he was openly declaring that the monsters no longer had an obligation to serve the people. From then on the monsters were free to kill as many peasants as necessary to increase Holy Share Value.
