Gov Abbott of Texas is the only modern Repooflican willing to use effective tactics. He wasn’t as firm as DeSantis against the imprisonment and strangulation of the world, but he’s been remarkably CREATIVE in dealing with the migrant invasion. Dropshipping the migrants to the demonic mayors who claimed to want them was the PERFECT tactic. Many populists have been wishing the demons would get a taste of their own medicine, and Abbott administered it without a spoonful of sugar. Now the demonic mayors are screaming for relief, and the D president refuses to give them relief. Machiavelli. Divide the enemy.
Now he’s getting hardass and serious instead of prankish. The Supremes followed their universal rule, ALWAYS enriching the rich and killing the poor. They ordered Texas to stop protecting its own border so the Feds could do their demonic inverse job of deprotecting the border and enriching the rich and killing the poor.
Abbott answered with explicit references to an old obsolete document which the Supremes fakely pretend to be “upholding” and “enforcing”. Of course the Supremes know their job. Their general job is enriching the rich and killing the poor. Their specific task is giving billionaires everything they want both culturally and economically.

BORDERS ARE LIFE.
Animals have skin. Trees have bark. Cells have membranes. The job of skin is to let in good stuff like air and water and keep out bad stuff. Larger things (food) must enter through specific ports. Any microbe or parasite that gets past the skin is killed by an unbelievably complex system of organs and cells.
Families and hives have houses and nests. The job of a house is to let in good stuff and keep out bad stuff.
Cultures have rules and taboos and language. The job of these abstract borders is to let in good people and good concepts and keep out the bad.
Nations have fences. The job of a fence is to let in good stuff like air and water and keep out bad stuff. Larger things (freight and humans) must enter through specific ports. Any criminal who gets past the skin is killed or ejected; any contraband freight that gets through the skin is destroyed or pushed back out.
Ideally contraband freight is anything that CAN’T BE MINED OR GROWN OR MADE INTERNALLY. Before 1960, USA had a correct understanding of borders. We let in coffee and rubber because we couldn’t grow or mine those resources here. We sharply restricted ALL other inputs. No manufactured stuff because we COULD AND DID MANUFACTURE EVERYTHING HERE. No labor or migrants because we were PROTECTING OUR OWN SKILLS AND WORKERS FROM THEFT.
BORDERS ARE NECESSARY FOR LIFE. WHEN YOU BREAK THE WALLS, THE CELL OR ANIMAL OR TREE OR CULTURE OR NATION DIES.
