Greenwald has another sharp and evocative observation in this short clip.
Large segments of D voters are FINISHED with Biden’s endless support of Israel’s imperialism. Glenn says this parallels the discontent with LBJ in 1968, by the same groups of D voters. LBJ felt the need to resign “so the party could win without him.”
Yes. I remember that moment. After protesting and campaigning for Gene, I felt vindicated when LBJ announced he wouldn’t run.
What I didn’t know then, what the media knew good and goddamn well, was that LBJ was NOT handing the baton of endless war to Humphrey. LBJ thought Hubie was a pussy. He was explicitly handing power to Nixon, and moved mountains to insure that Nixon would win. Nixon inherited as intended. He expanded the war. He expanded LBJ’s “guns and butter”, which really meant running the economy on debt instead of taxes. He expanded LBJ’s welfare for blacks and added his own ingredient of environmental genocide, GUARANTEEING THAT BLACKS WOULD NEVER HAVE JOBS AGAIN. Only welfare, which forced them into a dependent position. And then he crashed the world’s economy TO SUPPORT ISRAEL.
The media knew all of this and hid it because they wanted Nixon even more than LBJ wanted Nixon. Dickie was the best thing that ever happened to the media UNTIL TRUMP.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Biden wants to hand power back to Trump, who is GUARANTEED to continue and expand the Israel war, if not the thousand other wars. Trump won the first time by suckering the idiot Christians who are citizens of Israel instead of America. He said the words they wanted to hear, and they followed mechanically.
The media unquestionably want Trump back. This part isn’t a secret at all.

Later: This Due Dissidence clip describes the exact method that DNC would use if it wanted to run a real convention for the first time since 1968. Obviously this isn’t a matter of “laws” or “constitutions”, since parties are not in the “constitution”. Parties are just freestanding businesses which have their own specific rules for selecting their CEO. One interesting name pops up in the discussion. James Roosevelt, FDR’s grandson, is among the people proposing a real convention, and thus potentially one of the candidates. I’d vote for him in an instant.
