Credit where due

Now that the courseware world is mostly turning to Canvas, my publisher set up a paid testbed account, which was a long and tangled process.

Canvas is the fussiest of the various learning systems, so a fully usable testbed there will be sufficient for the other more resilient systems. I no longer need the generic Scorm provided by ScormCloud.

I tried to turn off my paid account at ScormCloud but couldn’t seem to make it switch, so I emailed Rustici last night to tell them what I was trying to do. They responded in ONE HOUR, reverted the account to minimal free status, and REFUNDED the last billing.

That’s excellent customer service, HIGHLY EXCEPTIONAL in this era when everyone is letting the AI create fake responses and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG delays.
