I’ve been hammering for years on the FACT that all “elections” are rigged, and the rig is NOT in the votes or counting. It doesn’t matter who votes or how the votes are counted. The rig happens before the ceremony of voting, when parties carefully remove all candidates and referenda that could change government behavior.
The same thing happens in surveys claimed to sample public opinion. The lunatic “city” “government” of Spokane sent out this survey to gather public opinion on the direction of police and fire management. The correct choices are completely absent. Here’s the first question:

Resident of the City of Spokane
High level of education (graduate degree, etc.)
Strong public speaking skills
Experience with racial justice issues
Successful track record of reducing crime
Prioritizes alternatives to incarceration (diversion, rehab, etc.)

“Track record of reducing crime” is close to the proper answer but not really correct. The exactly correct answer is “Keeps professional criminals in jail.”
The other questions are even more rigged. In each case the correct decision is absent, and a wide variety of delusional and destructive answers are permitted.
As in most other current problems such as universities and “journalism”, we’re supposed to debate about what happens INSIDE the gate, but the problem is the gate itself. Functional people and correct decisions CAN’T GET THROUGH THE GATE, can’t get into the system at all.

A few days later, the lunatic “city” “government” announced that it is “extending the timeline for implementing the public safety levy”, whatever the fuck that means.
My administration has had several productive meetings with the public and we find value in expanding input to ensure a responsive and comprehensive plan for our future. We will continue down this path, while also identifying how the City tightens its own belt to usher in a new era of fiscal responsibility.
The mention of limited resources may be a good indication. With QE turned off, the devils can’t do everything they want all the time, so they have to kill and torture more slowly.
DESISTANCE: The best way to control a devil is by limiting resources. Fighting only strengthens a devil, and other forms of “feedback” are utterly meaningless.

A few hours later, the source of the ‘postponement’ becomes clearer, but not the motive. The “city” “council” is rebelling against the mayor’s request for more money, citing the need for less spending and more frugality. Amazingly the mayor responded to the council’s request and removed the new tax item from the ballot. We don’t know yet what the council was really pissed about; maybe it was not enough Die-Verse Inclusiveness For Individuals Experiencing Inadequate Council Salaries.
I’m sure that the council DOESN’T want more police and less crime. The council has carefully pruned its own membership for many decades, shoving out every new member who broke ranks with the lunatic consensus and choosing the replacements without even the fake formality of “elections”.
