I have absolutely no reason to defend ANY politician, let alone Biden.
BUT: DailyMail makes some unfair evaluations of his performance in today’s interview.
Assuming their transcripts are accurate:
(1) They say Biden claimed to be the inventor of the computer chip. He supposedly said:
“We used to have 40 percent of computer chips. We invented the chip, the little chip, the computer chip. It’s in everything from cell phone to weapons.’
Exactly correct, and the fact that we USED to make 40 percent is the important part, a good populist point. He obviously didn’t claim that he was the inventor. We means USA.
(2) “I’ll feel, as long as I gave it my all, and I did as goodest job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about,’ he said, making up the word ‘goodest’.
No, he didn’t make up a word. “I did as good as job as I can” is a common phrase. Not proper grammar, but normal casual speech.
When you make unfair accusations you weaken your own case. The case for Biden’s senility is strong, and this gives ammunition to the donors who still want him to be their puppet.
