The purpose of the “cancelled” celebrities was clear though I didn’t see it at first. They’re all playing the same old trick, first perfected in Hollywood in the 40s. Rita Hayworth was the master of the trick. Go independent, sound reckless and radical, wait for bigger money, return to the fold.
