All of Europe is krazy, not just the Krauts. A newly worked natural gas deposit in Britain will serve ENTIRELY to power a bitcoin thingamajig, creating nothing but fraud and suffering.

A giant new natural gas field in Yorkshire is to be exploited for mining Bitcoin rather than boosting Britain’s energy supplies. Reabold Resources has been awarded a licence to carry out “gentle” fracking in the West Newton field near Hull, which is estimated to contain up to eight billion cubic metres of gas.
That would be enough to meet more than a tenth of the UK’s annual needs and makes it one of the largest onshore fields discovered in Britain, with the potential to bolster energy security for years to come.

The picture shows the facility in a farming region with cultivated crops nearby. Those crops could use the fertilizer from natural gas, and Britain could use the electricity.
Amazingly the US has remained mostly sane on petroleum. Democrats talk a good Gaian game, and we’ve managed to ruin part of our nuclear and hydro sources, but neither party has fully destroyed our oil and gas capacity.
