Reading about Obama’s new Archive, funded by the Tech Lords and banksters as payback for the 2009 bailout. The main building reminds me irresistibly of a USB type common during Obama’s term.

Modern architects make buildings look like something else, thus destroying the usefulness of the building. The form of this particular USB would lend itself to a modern skyscraper, and the metaphor of an archive would also fit nicely.
Here’s how the USB might look in one of my neighborhoods, roughly the same shape as the grounds of the Obama archive:

If the architects had this in mind they didn’t announce it publicly. When I searched “obama center usb”, Google said “No, the Obama Center doesn’t offer a commemorative USB.”
Cool architects are praised and rewarded for horrible dangerous shit because they’re cool. Uncool architects are mocked for impractical shit resembling other things, like the milk bottles and teepees common in the 1930s.
