Instantly my internal jukebox started playing My name is Crabby Appleton, I’m rotten to the core. Wait, who was he? Oh, he was the villain in I’m Tom Terrific, greatest hero ever!
I hadn’t seen or thought about that show since 1960. Music is still instantly available after 66 years with no refresh or rehearsal. Memory of the show itself isn’t as clear. I think it was a parody of the inventor-as-hero theme song, but that might be a “logical” assumption, not a memory. We could use a parody along those lines now!
