Seen in the Zillow Gone Wild section of Reddit. It’s in Junction City, deeply familiar territory to me.

Looking at the first pic, it’s just a well-kept recent tract house, nothing special. Typical limestone cliff behind it, again nothing special. I used to climb cliffs like that, make forts, dig fossils. Wonder why it’s so cheap?

Oh. The typical limestone cliff didn’t want a typical tract house nearby.
Excellent Heimatkunde test, or in English You’re not from here, are you? The non-Kansans couldn’t understand how a cliff got into FLATKANSAS. Did somebody build it as a decoration? They were 100% certain that Kansas is 100% level, not even a one-millimeter deviation, and cited statistics to prove their flat-earth fact.
Metanote: This makes me realize the previous item is a Heimatkunde test that I failed. I’m emphatically not from NYC, so my ideas about it are just as naive as the non-Kansans.
