Backward definition of rogue

Headline seen at RealClear: Math formula predicts when AI agents go rogue

First thought: Well, that’s dumb. No formula needed, they’re rogue by definition and intention. In programming terms,

if Exists (agent): IsRogue(agent)

Second thought: No, this misses the purpose. In normal life a person goes rogue by breaking his contract, an animal goes rogue by busting out of the fence, and a machine goes rogue by burning the factory.

AI agents are EXPLICITLY DESIGNED to do bad things. Altman and Amodei are omnidestructive demons who are FULFILLING their contract with Wall Street. They didn’t build a fence for their animals, and now their animals are burning down the factory, giving Wall Street infinite orgasms.

Move fast and break things, let the fires burn. The tech tyrants don’t mince words, they mince the universe.
