Right now online media is SATURATED with bots on the reading and writing side. Bots reading bots, bots pricing ads by the behavior of bots who DON’T BUY ANYTHING.
This sounds bad until you ask the nonbark question. Humans are still around, not vanished or extinct. If we’re no longer dominating the online world we must be ELSEWHERE. And there are pretty good signs that we’re spending more time elsewhere.
The barn is full of horseshit to the brim. The old optimist said there must be a pony under the shit. The new optimist says there’s no room for a pony, and we know he’s alive, so he must be out in the pasture.
