On a more positive note, the Spokane paper’s coverage is flawless, 100% Fairness Doctrine down the line. This was NOT true 10 years ago. Despite the churn in management, the actual reporters and writers are doing a splendid job. The byline mentions that two high school interns participated in the work. Those yoots are getting fine training. I’m glad I subscribed again.
